Meet Dr. Stewart
An Experienced Practitioner
Dr. Stewart is the creator of the NovoNail treatment and the founder of the NovoNail Nail Restoration Center.
A graduate of the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Stewart is a Board-Certified Podiatric Surgeon and staff member at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.
He completed his surgical training at the Allegheny Podiatric Residency at Parkview in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PSR 24), where he served as Chief Resident. He is a member of the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons (ABPS) and a Diplomat of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) as well as the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association (VPMA) and the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
Dr. Stewart is a member of The Podiatry Group and has privileges at the Martha Jefferson Outpatient Surgery Center at Pantops and with Martha Jefferson Hospital, where he maintains his active staff designation.
Dr. Stewart has been focused on the issue of toenail fungus throughout his career and has worked tirelessly to create the solution found in NovoNail.
"Toenail fungus is a podiatrist’s arch-nemesis," Dr. Stewart said. "Patients would ask for help with this problem and I found myself helpless to offer a solution that I felt addressed all the needs of the patient to restore the nail to a cosmetically beautiful condition.
Lasers, topicals, oral medicines, and surgical options all had limitations and in my opinion did not offer my patients a comprehensive answer to the problems created by the condition.
But through my years of practice, I developed and refined a new procedure that worked with tremendous results in my patients. With both a combination of existing techniques, and the creation of new, patent-pending approaches, we found that we can now deliver beautiful, natural looking nails to a wide-range of patients that may have been previously unsuccessful in their treatment."
